My reasoning in particular is the sheer oddity of what seems to be at least four different power roles using their actions on her- which does not at all seem likely because since when does everyone pile on one person like that- and the fact that if her messages can be manipulated so can her vote, and that has the potential to go bad places. As Notty (I believe) pointed out.

As the night slowly turns to day and the streets flood with morning sunshine, the early-rising townsfolk do another head-count, anxious of who they may have lost in the night.
It soon becomes clear that, once again, one person is missing. This time however, they are not found in their home, but cold outside on the street, eye sockets bloody and empty, and a strange piece of art laying on top of their torso.
Nottykitten, Vladamir Dractilla the Blood Surgeon, has died.
