SimpleSMP's Sixth (and most spooky) content update: New Mobs, Spooky Bosses, New Shop Items, & More!
It's officialy October! Obviously this means we have to get into the Halloween spirit on SimpleSMP, and I fully intend to deliver that! A new custom world, spooky mobs, bosses, brand new daily shop items, and general stability fixes are coming with this update.
Release Date: Saturday, October 10th, @ 2PM UTC.
New Custom World
Players have unearthed a new mysterious world that unleashed a ton of new mobs and powerful bosses across the overworld. This dangerous world is full of dungeons and loot that will give you a great advantage over others, but it doesn't come with some ease. The mobs hit harder, there are lakes of lava, PvP is constantly enabled, and many other challenges are presented to you in this new world. Will you take the chance and uncover what this new area has to offer...

New Dedicated Server
I am happy to announce that we have moved to a much faster and more modernized setup to host our servers! If you have played on any of our servers before, you know sometimes - especially when SMP's dropped, the server could kinda struggle with itself. We wanted a solution for this, and instead of gimping our servers we decided to try and find somewhere else to host our servers, and luckily ayan4m1 came around with a solution that helped us all! You will notice that things are running much smoother now, and it will continue to be that way now.
We haven't finished moving all the servers over yet, but do not worry - I intend to bring every server back. I quite honestly didn't expect player shops to be so popular. The spawn shops are already essentially filled up, and it seems a lot of players want more shop areas. The new shop are will be accessible on release day via /warp PlayerShops, and the /warps GUI. The bottom floor features two sized shops, small and medium - and the top floor is reserved for large shops. You can easily get between the two via the elevators every few shops. Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the new server as much as I'm enjoying playing on it / watching you all play. I feel like the launch was a fairly smooth experience, and I'm super happy with the way things turned out in the past few days since release. I do know there were some things players noticed, like small bugs, and on top of that - some players suggested a few things be added. I hear everyone loud and clear, and I want to try my best at working with players to build up the true experience they want overtime. Please keep in mind that with any update that changes a handful of things majorly, new bugs may appear, or old bugs that were fixed before might pop up again. Survival Simple SMP Teaser / Info Thread
After working through a pandemic and going through some weird patches of times, we are finally excited to announce the release of Simple SMP.
Simple SMP is not your average vanilla Minecraft server, but it strives to keep the core values of it in mind - so that players do get refreshing, new experiences, but also get to play the Minecraft they all know and love. We didn't want to set out and make a store, or a huge lorebook, and throw players in expecting them to read everything and understand every bit of the world - this time we set out to create a space where players can build up, work together, and create their own stories and lore of the world.

I have been silently working on something behind the scenes for quite some time and I'm finally ready to release it! New secrets, features, challenges, ways to pass time, & more are coming in this update. There are also of course - a ton of bug fixes! Here are some highlights of the new lobby. We have been using our current lobby for a long time now, and I figured it'd be a nice breath of fresh air to release something new to join to.
Bedrock Integration
We are testing a new proxy that allows users who are on bedrock editions (Windows 10, Switch, Mobile, Xbox, & PS4) to join our servers. Please keep in mind this is experimental, and anyone who joins with their bedrock clients may experience some glitches.
What this means is that bedrock users can fully enjoy our servers, and it can also open up our servers to a lot more people.

Minecraft One Block Skyblock
Welcome to a new and exciting take on Skyblock!
People were asking around in the discord for an event, so I decided to quickly start up a server so people have something to play while I'm still working on SimpleSMP.
If you don't know what One Block Skyblock is, go ahead and check out the video linked below for some more details on it.
Now, all that I ask is for everyone to follow our community rules, including not being a dick. If you break any of these rules, you will be banned just like any server.
