Died from radiation - it drained my food bar - I was trying to get into some wooden buildings.

I had no wood and food.

PS. I respawned where was some wood. Maybe be better luck next time XD
I was going trough buildings as much as could.

This server is pretty fun, I already have a house, mine, mushroom farm, and after a couple of hours playing I run in fright of the sunlight like a zombie :)

I would assume Northern Hemisphere as this is where the server and probably a large part of the community resides, however I can't know for sure .

That makes absolutely no sense. There is no difference between northern or southern hemisphere in days of the week, or in time of day, for that matter. It's a time reference. Not a weather season.
