Premium Server Lobby

I've very well seen it happen on the Shotbow servers, so it's surely possible.
It's just a matter of coding, I suppose. Which I still have little to no knowledge in, sadly.

Well, I've been thinking for a little while about maybe suggesting this in our new lobby.
The lobby at the moment is pretty big (compared to the old one) and I was wondering if there was a way to have Speed II in it, merely because it's so big and we can't sprint all around it. ( Trust me I've tried .)
I know there will be some things like "Oh but you can still get there/walk to the portal"
But I was mostly thinking about making it easier for players to run to the portal/server they wanted.
I've seen it in RoF. In the lobby in RoF sometimes you get a speed boost (not sure when.. mostly when you're buying things..xD ) But it made me think about how it would be useful in the lobby to get to whichever sever you wanted.
(I also hope this is in the right section, I wasn't exactly sure where to put this.)

We do indeed have this on RoF. In Master Temple there’s a speed II beacon, and I believe there’s one in the ranking up corridor now aswell. It’s really nice and handy, and I’m happy to see RoF has this.
I thought of this aswell and was wondering why they didn't implement it. Maybe because it looks ugly? I'm sure the directors+ would be able to hide the beacon or even give it a nice look. It makes a huge difference, and now that we have such a big lobby it would make travelling to each portal just so much easier and faster.

I wasn't sure if there was a way you could do it without a beacon? (I know nothing about programing.. or anything n that matter about servers)
But I was thinking that maybe an automatic way in the program itself to have speed II?

It said only with the right permissions, like... the rank player?
Would it work like that 0-0
I'm sure that the permissions can be tweaked to allow any levels we like to have the speed boost.
I really like this idea, since I have been a bit annoyed over having to run so long to get around in the lobby.

Maybe via command blocks?
Have a button at spawn and when you press it gives you speed.
It would be like @p /effect <syntax for speed here>

Easiest solution would be placing a pressure plate next to the spawn that grants the player Speed 2. Players who don't want it don't have to step on it, players who want to get to their portal quickly just need to move forward a block after they log in.
And by Speed 2, I mean Blindness 1, Nausea 4, Slowness 3, and Wither 3.

I agree it takes much longer to get to the portals in new lobby. This is especially true with the portal glitches since I've sometimes had to run to the same portal 5 times before finally getting in the game

Ok, then simply right-click the server status signs in the lobby, right at spawn, and get teleported to the server immediately!

Sorry for the necropost, but what about the /logout command? Was it disabled or is it broken?
That one day that everything derped. GmK did his magic and got everything back up, but in the process the /logout command had to be sacrificed, I never heard any details to how or why but, no more /logout.
