Dear fellow Create Members,
I believe that for many, in fact most of you, building on Create is a hobby. It's a big hobby in which you allocate time to create beautiful things in a beautiful server, and your builds are a feast to the eyes. I have been roaming around Create recently, admiring all these builds. However, after looking through so many builds, I felt that something was not right. It didn't seem right to me that there are so many scattered builds all around flatland, all segregated and separated, with no link between them. After much pondering, a big question hit me: what if there was a unified project in which everyone is involved? Therefore, I am proposing to all of you that we add a new world into Create, Themed. This suggestion, as I have thought through, will bring us a better community, more aim to build on Create, and most importantly, have more fun together. Let me show you...
To begin off with, this project would mean that we will have a better building community. Everyone will be involved as much as possible, and this will foster cohesion within the building community. Everyone will be working together on builds linked together on the world; there would be towns, villages, castles, under the same theme, all of which linked together by roads, rails, etc. For those of you whom have played on Kami's Realm some time ago, you would have remembered Terrama's base, with that huge and beautiful pit in the centre together with those excellent buildings done on the surface. Terrama's base was a good example, as everyone in Terrama somehow or rather contributed to the base efforts. Everyone worked together as a team, for the team. Just imagine this added to Create, imagine people working together, like in Terrama, except in a much larger scale. Definitely, the community will be better bonded.
Adding on, a Themed world would mean that everyone would have more aim to build on Create. As said by Michael Jordan, a famous Basketball player, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships." I'm going to use Terrama as an example again. In Terrama, members were constantly on the run, they built more and more farms, expanded the village, made the locks more secure. The reason behind this? They all wanted to make Terrama a better place for everyone else, to make it so that it as sustainable as possible. In Create, the idea of 'sustainability' is demolished, unfortunately. However, the idea of wanting to expand the small town indefinitely is enhanced. I myself, was addicted to building more and more shops for my Singleplayer world some time back ago. It started off with a small house, to a second, to a pagoda, to a stadium, and finally, to 4 different shops scattered around the world. If you want screenshots of these worlds, please feel free to ask. Right now, what I see on Create is that everyone is working on different, personal projects and have no real unified aim, they are also not pushing each other to complete something by a deadline, so there is no pressure at all. I am requesting that you set a level of healthy pressure by adding this world, and give everybody an aim.
Finally, this whole project would let the players have more fun in general. Building alone is not fun at times, it gets boring quickly, and you feel really unmotivated. With friends at your side, giving you support, you are able to carry on your build and expand what you have made so far. With a group of friends, encouraging each other on their own projects, there is no limit on what you can do. Friends can have fun building together, expanding their village, carrying out roleplays after they've made something. Open your eyes wide, guys and gals, and look at what's in store for you. Not to only mention that, fun is a big factor which lures more players and sticks players together.
In conclusion, with so many possibilities and prospects ahead of us, why not give this project a go? With the added fun, increased community bonding, and added purpose to building, I see nothing to lose at all! Let us all be optimistic about this project, go ahead with it, and move forwards together.
Thank you.
