Only try to connect once every 3 minutes!

If you get a slot within 3 minutes, it will hold it for you till 3 minute are up!

You will not lose your slot if you only try once every 3 minutes.

But you will make the server VERY SLOW if you spam the connect button...

If less then 38 and not letting you in:

Every person that disconnects has 60sec to rejoin (in case they crashed). The server holds their spot for that time. Logically, if e.g. 4-5 people disconnect, the playercount can show 34/40, but 4 of those might come back within 60 seconds. Only after they don't, these slots get opened to the people in the queue.

That's not the case. I quit due to rubberbanding, tried to rejoin less than 20 seconds later, and I was 43rd in a queue of 42 people.
