Honestly I think an aod competition would suit better if it was individuals, with teams all the member are spread out around timezones. You can hardly get all members on.
Perhaps if we could have a little exclusive section of the lobby, which would open for tournaments, and anyone could enter (or join a waitlist) to duke it out with another hopeful competitor. Each entrant might get a cap of 10 matches, and score could be based on victory/loss, kills/deaths, and/or items. This setup might be able to be rigged to host teams of 2 or 3, too (and 3 people who meet by chance online could burn through 10 matches easy enough). I reckon this could make tournaments a lot more accessible and timezone-friendly
