From the ashes of Dicordia,a new government was born. It did not go down the path of dictatorship, like some other settlements in the past have. It did not join up another settlement. It formed a democracy, where the people had control. They could decide would could happen. They had a say. They could run for the office of President. They, the people, stood as one, to form the United Rempublicams of Dicordia.

Welcome to the thread for the United Rempublicams of Dicordia, UAD or United Rempublicams for short. This, unlike other settlements, is a democracy. So, instead of a leader saying what happened, the people decide on whats happening. Also, anyone can run for offices, like Senator, Vice President, President, etc. However, a supreme authority, Prime Minister, is in place to keep an eye on the leaders. They wont have much political power. Here are the Postions at this time.

President: Open
Vice President:Open
Senators: Open

Since Discordia has not started, message me if you would like to join. The positions for the first term (1 month), will not be elected on, and are open. Message me if you like one of them, and ill review each of you. Prime Minister is NOT open for anyone, i have to trust you first. After term one, all positions will be elected upon, you will have to rerun to stay in office. Here is our current status.

It is Democracy, the Prime Minister has no say in the government. It makes sure leaders are in order, and if need be, start a vote to remove corrupt leaders.

In the early stages of the server Elyria will ally with URoD on the terms that it will remain a peaceful settlement, and that all of it's residents agree to abide by the following-

- Remain within the market district and on the footpaths.
- Allow a small Elyrian counsel to also have a say within URoD
- Will report on any suspicious activity within Elyria should they be passing by and witness it.
- Will not expect resources from Elyria

If the terms are to be accepted URoD can expect:
- Elyrian residents willing to offer their swords when URoD faces war against a un-allied settlement.
- The following personnel access to the ground and upper floors of the castle. A embassy within the market district: Zeus, mpo and one other specified member.
- Safety from Elyrian residents if met with in the wild.

Should further terms need to be added the topic can be open for discussion for a further week, if a decision isn't made Elyria can be counted as a neutral faction for the following month of November.

This sounds agreeable, i am for the partnership. Once the URoD (aka URD)'s Congress gets off its feet, you will have a say. Ill discuss further terms with you later, but im for allying with you.

The URD is being abandoned. No one has sent an app, and with DoD coming, i feel it is best to wait until a further date. The thread can be kept open, but we will not be in DoD for now. Later, we shall come back,

Since the way the government is set up will not work, it will be restructured. With that, a new name will appear. I'll post the name as soon as i can think of one.

Since i don't know what that is, i'll just disregard it. The new government is doing to be semi-democratic, and semi-monarchy. Basically a Constitutional Monarchy, but with a few things changed.
