Minecraft Temp SMP Server

As per the community news (see this thread) a temporary SMP will open at 7PM UTC today, 1st November. (Thats in 1 hour 10 minutes!).

Due to concerns about the player base not enjoying the upcoming SMP as much due to having a temporary server, it is likely that it will close in a week or two, but stay tuned for updates on this as we (the admins) need to discuss this. You can also have your input by replying on this thread.

If you played the previous 1.9 SMP then you can download the world here. The server is also similar in that PVP is enabled and you will have access to claims and chest protection.

To join, connect to the main lobby (lobby.escaperestart.com) with Minecraft 1.10(.2) and connect to the Temp SMP server by right clicking the sign or jumping in the portal.

Does this mean, that 188 unique players joined server?

If yes, then we can know how many unique players joined our lobby by just looking into playerdata of main lobby map.... tnmjimbob pls

Yes that is correct. I left the player data folder in so that you still have your original inventory.

Furthest distance travelled was 11000k out to the east, looks like they went overland too. :/
