The Princess Who Fought Shadows​

In a world, much like ours but very different, imagination is a reality. With the magic of human thought anyone could bring any creation made within the mind to the physical world. Some people are able to move entire mountains and some only think of the tiniest joys. Entire civilizations have rose with the power of imagination. Yet, dangers await those who misuse their imagination and create terrible beings and monsters who have brought kings to their knees.

In order to avoid chaos, three rules were created into Law and Reality:

1. No one must ever imagine creatures of life and beating hearts.
2. No one must ever use their imagination to cause harm or death to another.
3. No one must ever try to bring someone back from the dead using their imagination.

Under The Bed​

Two twins Tamara and Emil, now age 15, venture to the world under their beds to save the teddy bears that used to fight the monsters for them when they were kids.

Monster
A young, handsome boy, just a few months shy of his 18th birthday, had warily opened the door whilst wielding his rifle to find a strange distorted humanoid, appearance horrific and disturbing. But while most people would shoot such a thing for its appearance alone, the boy chose to take the creature in because whilst the creature looked like a monster, its blue eyes are most certainly human. And were thoroughly scared and pleaing for help.

The boy named her Blaise, after his deceased sister's doll.​

• Blaise is a boy name. I realized this. I chose to give the 'monster' this name anyway, because a) the name stuck, and b),
• This is to enunciate the fact that he still hasn't let go of his family. His deceased family, who all died off through either hunts gone wrong or the plague.
• The reason why the boy's deceased younger sister gave her female doll a boy name is because she thought the name was nice, and in the end they all called the doll that. The boy doesn't know where the doll went, but the doll's eyes are blue and so are the 'monster's' and so that's what he calls her.
• There are no romantic feelings between the boy and Blaise. They develop a platonic bond, the boy's brotherly instincts taking over because Blaise is actually very weak, because
• Blaise was the experiment of a madman. Said madman killed several people, ripped off their flesh, took out their hearts, their bones, vital organs, and somehow made a distorted, humanoid body. And by some miracle, she came to life, and while certain details inbetween are fuzzy, eventually the village the man got those body parts hunts him down and Blaise escaped in the ordeal. This wouldn't be stated outright and the boy won't really realize this, but there will be implications, such as a tag proclaiming ownership hidden on her person and such. There could be a prequel detailing her backstory, though...
• The entirety of the story would be the boy taking care of Blaise, their relationship evolving day by day, and the boy eventually thinking of her as his second sister as he teaches her step by step of humanity, the lonely boy who isolated himself from his village becoming not so lonely anymore.
• The ending is not a happy one. While the boy isolated himself from his village, deliberately moving to the edge of the forest and farther away from the other houses, he is stated to be handsome, keeping fit by hunting, and while there's no specific era set, he'd be seen as a nice catch no matter how antisocial and once in a while some woman will be standing at his front door. The boy will be able to hide Blaise for quite some time, but eventually one of his more stubborn pursuers will realize exactly what he's hiding, tell the village before he can stop her, and will lead to a bunch of events that end in Blaise dying in an attempt to save him, which ends up moot because he ends up tied at the stake and burned anyway.
• I actually made an attempt to write this once. It was the description of Blaise that really stopped me. I could write this myself, see how it goes, if I only knew exactly how to describe Blaise's appearance. You can take this plot and write it yourself, but if you give me a good description for Blaise's appearance instead... Well, I'd be willing to alter it.
