How would you describe the responsibility and obligation of the rank you apply for: - Staffing a server as a whole requires one to take up a position of authority and really show your colours in that regard. The job of an Operator in particular is to keep the server running smoothly by solving problems, clearing up grief, and responding to help requests. As a BuildBox staff member myself I know all about how unappealing a grief-filled server is to players, and the staff team and I really work hard to keep the server looking clean. I assure you that I would take this same attitude forwards into Dusk of Discordia - along with the more specialised areas of helping out with an SMP server such as rolling back chests and the like.
Assume that there are more applicants and can only pick one of them, why you?: - Of course, there are many applicants - all have good applications and it must be quite the daunting task of the upper staff only to choose a few! But as far as my application is concerned, I have almost one and a half years of staffing experience in this community under my belt and very rarely will I come across a situation I have not seen at some point or another. I'm brimming with ideas and a perfectionist, and I would help get this server the attention it deserves.
If there is a problem you aren’t sure of how to deal with, what will you do: - This situation would most likely affect me in my early days and weeks of staffing this server, having not staffed an SMP server before - I enjoy challenges! I'd consult my (hopefully soon-to-be) fellow staff members and try and solve it with them - failing that, we would consult upper staff and ask for help from them.
If a staff member of equal or higher rank is acting up, what will you do: - Hopefully this won't happen - I trust that the upper staff will choose applicants that will not act up so to speak - but in this case I would take screenshots of the incident and send them to upper staff for them to sort out. As an equal or inferior to the other staff in question, it would not be my job to sort out.
What is your most noticeable weakness, and how will you work to fix it: - I am often overly passionate about things I am trying to support or go against, and will often turn debates into confusing and vitriolic arguments that end in tears for both sides. Fear not, for I'm not the kind to write a diatribe on a daily basis - I do respect other opinions and I love hearing what others have to say.
Tell us about yourself in less than 200 words: - I'm Prizyms, the enigmatic BuildBox Controller. You may have seen me lurking around the forums and servers quite a bit. I'm not really a prism.

The question in particular is 'What is the best thing you have ever read?'. For me, it would have to be the poem 'Invictus' by William Ernest Henley. I will post the poem below
Out of the night that covers me,

This is a very special poem to me. The title is Latin for 'unconquered' and reflects upon, even through all of the hardships I have suffered, my will to survive and overcome in the face of what seems to be an impossible trial. I really think I could bring the spirit of 'Invictus' to the staff team - I will overcome personal struggles and hardships for the good of the team, for 'I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.'
