well i am stuck again, with one heart with a skele and an enderman attacking me. i have a full inventory of cobble, coal, redstone, iron, diamonds, gold, and weapons. what do i do?

Well.
1. You die. Try and get back as soon as possible before stuff despawns.
2. If possible, build around you, then try and dig up with your fist.
3. Dance

If you're by an abandoned mineshaft, break 6 planks.

Make a workbench with 4.

Sticks with 2.

Make a furnace.

Smelt the iron with coal.

Make a pickaxe.

Mine a stairway upward.

If you're nowhere near an abandoned mineshaft, you can always dig straight upward, or find your way back through the caves.

A special thing I do with torches is always place on the right wall. And when I need to go back, just follow the torches on the left wall.

To add on to this, try and write the EXACT COORDINATES down. All 3 lines, as it sounds like your in a cave.

You need a system to tell you how to get back! I usually place three torches at any crossroads and another one behind the three to point me in the right direction. (Or you could do what Duffie does...)

1. Play rpg's from the 80's/90's.
2. Memorize the maps because that's really the easiest way to do it.
3. Never get lost in minecraft.
