Hello, and welcome to Hangman! There are many rules and twists that make this game suitable for an online forum.
How to Play
The object of the game is pretty basic. All you have to do is to solve a word puzzle by guessing the letters that are in it. The puzzles will range from one word to several words long. Each puzzle will have a category, such as Blocktopia Members, World City, Book Title, etc. Some may be Minecraft related as well.
Rules
Do not use any outside sources such as Google or Wikipedia to assist you. However, you may use them to find a website link (for example, in Round 5, Puzzle 10).
You cannot double-post as well.
Do not edit your post after somebody has guessed a letter after your post. However, if you guess a letter/number that was already guessed, you may have to chance to edit your guess until 2 posts after.
If two people guess the same letter in the same minute, the second person doesn't get the score.
A couple times per day, I will post the puzzle with any correctly guessed letters, along with people's scores.
Scoring
If you guess a letter correctly, you will gain 1 point for each time the number appears in the puzzle.
If you do not guess a letter correctly, you will lose 1 point.
If you guess the whole puzzle correctly, you will gain 5 points.
If you guess the whole puzzle incorrectly, you will lose 5 points.
All of the puzzles will be posted in rounds. Each round has 10 puzzles. If you have the most points at the end of a round, you will win!
