No, this isn't an attempted replica of it, but by the size of it, the thing at least resembles ancient Persia at its height.
What I'm doing is, I have a house on the side of a mountain, overlooking a village.
This village borders a river, and if one were to follow the river for long enough, they would come across another village.
Recently, near the river, I found another river, which I will cut a canal from one river to the other to, and along this second river I found a village, and then a tall grass biome with a village drastically near the center, far from any rivers.
My plan is to continue to upgrade these villages for river travel capability (docks) and to build a long road, traversing rivers and plains, from the grassy biome village to the village at the second river.
I'll be providing screenshots soon, and I'd like to point out that I have yet to name the two newer villages or the rivers.
If anyone has any ideas, I'm game.
