Brains? How do they work?

I am still very new to this server and even the people I know on this server don't really know what these do.

I keep getting brains from getting kills and (rarely)winning matches, but can you actually use them for anything or is it just to brag, or will there be a system implemented in the future to use them?

So, you may see that some players have titles such as, Hercules, or, Veteran. Brains are used to buy these titles. For instance Party Animal (Lowest Rank) is 500 brains, Veteran is 5000, Hercules is 10000 etc. etc. Currently this is the only use for brains to the best of my knowledge.

I believe there are other plans for them in the future, but for now they allow you to purchase ranks for bragging rights. Initially they also allowed you to purchase items such as swords and armor, but this was removed.

It's fun sometimes to hold little competitions like captain_pikmin

With brains, you earn 25 for every kill, 50 for every time you are top hunter/survivor, and 75 for winning as survivor. With your brains you can slowly rank up, although currently the only purpose of ranks is to show off
