[BCOLOR=transparent]The new game modes:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]TNT:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]By far the most requested game mode. This game mode is team attack / defend game mode where each team has a “Core” which they have to defend, while also attacking the opposing team’s core.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]To cause damage to the core, simply stand near your opponent’s core and it will start to take damage. If your core takes damage, you can heal it by standing in the area around it.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]In TnT, you do not lose your inventory when you die. Each time you get a kill, you earn Emeralds which can be used to buy new weapons, but you have an unlimited supply of TnT, so blast away![/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]A few notes here. None of the weapons will allow you to damage team members, and you cannot use any weapons near your opponents core.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Mob:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]This is the answer to the playing AoD by yourself issue. It is a Player vs Mob game mode where waves of mobs spawn, and the aim is to survive as long as possible. You cannot “win”, but you receive more Experience the higher the wave, and the more mobs you kill. Each wave spawns more mobs than the previous, meaning at some point you will be overcome. The more players who are online, the more mobs that spawn.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]When you kill a mob, you will receive Gold which can be used to buy items from the in game shop. The charm of resurrection is a special item which can be used to bring players back from the dead.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Every 10 rounds there is a bonus wave which will spawn special mobs, which will be harder to kill than other mobs, but fewer will spawn.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Changes to Existing game modes:[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Deathmatch (Previously called FFA):[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]So called “kill steals” are now a thing of the past. Experience is given proportional to the damage dealt, with the kill being given to the player who caused the most damage. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Every player has 5 lives, and after a player has run out of lives, they spectate until there is 1 player left, or the time runs out. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Zombie:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Zombie has been turned back to 1.8 style pvp. Therefore, [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]you will now be able to spam click, and do not need to time your hits.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]All Dark Hunters will cause negative potion effects such as nausea, hunger and slowness to any players which are injured by them. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Old maps have also been added from the event. Some old maps have also been removed to allow for these new maps to be in rotation.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Infection:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Maps can now have kits. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Other Changes to the server:[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]New rank and economy system:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Money will be reset, and all ranks removed. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]This is to make way for what we think is a better system.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]As you play the server, you gain Experience. This experience will stay with you and can’t decrease. You can view this by typing /xp.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]As well as this experience, you also have an experience level. This is calculated from how much experience you have. You require more experience to get to each consecutive experience level. When you rank up to a new level, you gain a new type of currency which is used to buy cosmetics, perks and commands. You also get this by voting for the server. Typing /cosmetics will bring up a menu which will allow you to buy cosmetics.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Ranks are being removed. Instead, you achieve titles by getting achievements. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Misc Changes:[/BCOLOR]
  • [BCOLOR=transparent][BCOLOR=transparent]A new lobby has been made by Iggy and crew, so thank you a lot for doing that! We have a new Tutorial, and theme to the lobby, as many people felt like the old one was getting a bit old.[/BCOLOR][/BCOLOR]
  • [BCOLOR=transparent][BCOLOR=transparent]When a round ends, you will have the option to give your feedback on a map. This should allow staff to make maps more fun to play, and we can remove those maps which are less favourable. [/BCOLOR][/BCOLOR]
  • [BCOLOR=transparent][BCOLOR=transparent]A new ontime plugin has been added.[/BCOLOR][/BCOLOR]
  • [BCOLOR=transparent][BCOLOR=transparent]A /ready command has been added which allows players to skip prep time. [/BCOLOR][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]We will aim to open the server at 11am BST (convert to your timezone here) on Saturday 6th August. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]There may be issues with the server, so make to use /reportbug to report any bugs you find.[/BCOLOR]

No more annoying kill steals and 1.8 combat, looks like Christmas came early this year. Also TnT is back too!
And hey, lets also steal an awesome event for good measures!
