How much time will you be able to spend staffing the server each day? 4 to 6 hours each week day. Weekends very much any time between 12 mid-day and 4am to plug any staff gaps.
What do you think the responsibilities of an operator are on this server?
To ensure that the players on the server are able to enjoy the game play, while at the same time making sure they adhear to the rules. A secondary objective is to report any bugs encounted while on the server. This includes server instability/item glitches or crashes.

What sets you apart from other applicants?
I have 2 years passed experence on the blocktopia/theones servers in which i staffed all the servers at one point or another. I can use this experence to deal with situations not only quickly but fairly

What do you believe your greatest weaknesses are as a player and/or staff member?
Sometimes my main weakness can be my typing/spelling which i have worked hard to improve over the past few years as it is required in my current work place also. My maturity used to be questionable at times but this has improved greatly over time.

How would you approach a problem that you are unfamiliar with? I would read the situation before acting to make sure that i do what is required correctly. If it is a command i am unsure of, rather than risking the server i will ask another member of the operating team how to run it. This will prevent any adverse effects not only the server, but the player also. I will also be sure to read though any documentation on plugins i need to use such as prisum to ensure i know how to use them in the correct way.

I find there is little else for me to say on this app that I did not see on the last one. Scotty stands out as one with experience and dedication. In the 2 years he has staffed he has helped a great deal of people. While it may be true that he has made mistakes, let the they who are without error cast the first stone! Scotty's good deeds far outweigh his bad, and I for one appreciate the positive impact he has made on Rituals of Fire. I raise 0 objections to his attitude, behavior, and motives regarding staffing. I vote +1, and I cannot wait to staff with you, should this be accepted!

I had noticed that on your last application I gave my -1 prematurely. I know it was a mistake on my part and you have improved so much from the last application. Your behavior when on and off the server is great. Regardless of whether or not there is staff online you fulfill the requirements I personally set for somebody I want to see as operator. Gahh...I'm not sure where to go with this, I normally would plus one this, but more recently watching you and listening to you, I just don't think the maturity is at it's highest point yet. (Sorry if that's harsh) I haven't really seen you help much (and I know the whole "well it'll be backseat opping" thing, that's not always the case though. Normally 4-5 people all help out by saying the same thing when someone's asking.) Things like complaining about small things and yelling on teamspeak and other things that don't seem very adult-like are what's putting me off here. These being an example:

I agree with this very much. But that's not the only thing that an Operator on RoF needs. From the logs above it does show less maturity, but it could be just you messing around, I mean everyone can mess up sometimes, but this is a bit too much in my opinion. I've seen you helping a bit but really I didn't see anything special that made me think that sets you apart from the other players who are applying (although what you wrote).

I do feel that you are responsible and you could some-how work this out.

Gahh...I'm not sure where to go with this, I normally would plus one this, but more recently watching you and listening to you, I just don't think the maturity is at it's highest point yet. (Sorry if that's harsh) I haven't really seen you help much (and I know the whole "well it'll be backseat opping" thing, that's not always the case though. Normally 4-5 people all help out by saying the same thing when someone's asking.)

Thanks for the replys so far. I am doing my best to improve in terms of maturity. As french said people do screw up now and again but i will be sure so make that a one off incident that wont happen again. I look forward to staffing if my application is approved and i wont let anyone thats +1'd me down. :)

This one's.. different. I've been waiting for the other staff to reply before tossing in my thoughts. I questioned my reference at first, and decided to keep it on the basis that I wanted you to re-apply and try your best. I'm glad you didn't give up! : )

Clock's right -- I've noticed some aggression too, and I'm hoping that'll be improved. I don't know if it's because of stress or what; I'm not going to hold that against you. We all get like that at some point.

On the topic of the logs, my opinion's that adding in the context serves no purpose other than me leaning closer towards the side that he hasn't done much. Sure, that kind of stuff is a bit weird, and this point may not be all too valid, but.. a lot of us say dirty things on that level. It's a shame that it's suddenly meaningful just because he's come to apply for operator.

I wish there was some person who kept in mind that you had applied before, and would've gone and told you privately to be careful with your words when you're considering a staff position. Instead, you went on thinking there was nobody who'd have an issue with what was said. There are times when that happens to even myself, where I don't realize the negative effect my joke could have on somebody. I'm sure you've got your remorse, and I know that seeing people putting you down because of this frustrates you, and I'm gladly moving on from the whole thing. I hope others can as well.
