A request for help regarding MCEdit and Schematics

Hi,
I am trying to put a schematic file into my minecraft single player. I use MCEdit, but I can't seem to get it to work. I can import the file, it just doesn't seem to save when I go back onto my single player world. When I click 'save' it starts to do something and then stops.
Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Not sure. Are you following these steps:
1. Open MCEdit (make sure Minecraft is not open) and select the save you want
2. Load it and find an area in which you want the schematic
3. Go under 'import' and grab the schematic
4. Import it in the correct spot
5. CTRL+S or go under MCEdit -> Save
6. Exit MCEdit

If so, it should work alright. If not, this might help!

If you PM me the world and tell me what needs doing, I can see if I can do it for you and perhaps it might be an error with the world. Let's hope it's that! and if it's not, either way, I'll have done it for you :3

Well I have to do it with like 10 worlds haha, sorry! I will just try to find another way for now and post if I get anything. Thanks anyway!
