If you were unaware already, A group (What I assume to be multiple people) have gone around hacking. DDoSing.

Apparently these are now down from the group: Lizard Squad (https://twitter.com/lizardsquad)
-Twitch
-Playstation Network
-LoL (NA)
and so on.

Apparently they took over Blizzard but it seems fine now.
I doubt they would mess with Gaben though.
As Gaben is our true overlord.

Oh yes, They are using the Twitter page to let everyone know who they are hacking aswell. So you may want to check that out.

(so DDOS is hacking now?)
EDIT: This reddit comment sums it up nicely.
>We really need some measure to stop calling DDoS attacks "hacking." It's an exploit in Internet infrastructure, and no data is being compromised in the process. DDoS attacks do not infiltrate and manipulate code on the other end, nor does it open up vulnerabilities and loopholes into sensitive information. It's the tech equivalent of parking your car in front of your neighbor's driveway for petty vengeance of some sort, and is the mark of some angsty teenage brat, not an organized hacker.
These aren't hackers. They're vandals.

le ebin scriptkiddies will be so satisified with themselves for people calling a DDoS hacking. It's just pressing a button.
It's not "just pressing a button", do to it successfully you are best off getting shells for a program by either knowing people, or writing them yourself.

Did some research, most of this is bullshit.

"These attacks are from two different groups. Ive been following this since last night.
Famedgod is the psn botnet ddoser
Lizardsquad tried to take credit for attacks.
Famedgod tried to dox them
Lizardsquad calls in bomb threat
Anonymous doxxes lizardsquad
Twitter user doxxes famedgod"
(/u/KnifevsFace)

"The funniest thing?
It doesn't look like the Lizard Group (who tweeted American Airlines and shared John Smedley's e-ticket) were actually the ones to bring down the PSN servers in the first place.
https://twitter.com/FamedGod[1]
Has claimed responsibility, and is sharing all of their IP's and information online along with his 'proof' of hacking.
So these kids tried to take responsibility for a hack that wasn't them, then decided to instead call in a fake bomb threat on a plane. Wow. Darwin award winners perhaps?"

Just a small update. Apparently it wasn't the 'lizard squad' who ddos everyone, they just took the credit. I wont tweet the guy who actually did it but he actually posted the IP addresses of the lizard squad guys and then proof that he took down PSN, he is apparently targeting microsoft next. This whole thing is crazy, stupid and full of false claims so dont look into it too much.

Seems like some some kids just took the credit and then also called in a bomb threat. They tried to go from "trouble makers" to "potential terrorists". They're a joke.
