Hi, I though it'd be fun to make a thread where people can see who likes to do what (hobbies) and who's good at what (talents). This is sorta going to work the same way as the language thread, just a list of popular hobbies and which people do them/are good at them.

To be added, just reply with what you can do, if its a hobby or a talent, and final note. (I've added a few from memory)
I'll try to add as many as I can as long as I can.

Singing is a pretty big talent hobby of mine, just make sure you're not in earshot when I start singing
Idk if drawing is my talent, some people say it is but I l i t e r a l l y s u c k
I'd say I have a talent in writing
Building too
Music too
I hope being funny is a talent, I'm not sure but some people say so
Of course I have a talent of being myself (refer to my profile picture), which can be not so great a thing at times

Singing is one of my talents, but I'm not very good at singing very high notes.

For hobbies, I'm usually playing Minecraft as well as 100% Orange Juice with custom music.

I tend to walk a lot every time I finish a meal. That's also one my hobbies next to playing Minecraft and 100% Orange Juice.

I'll just do lists:
Hobbies:
Reading (real books), Minecraft, MC redstone, MC map making, The Legend of Zelda, fishing (IRL), LARP*, Archery, playing old video games, running (particularly through an obstacle course), playing musical instruments, Smash Bros, logic.

Talents:
Keeping rhythm/beat, agility, running (particularly through an obstacle course), Minecraft, The Legend of Zelda, Smash Bros, math/science equations, engineer's mind (untrained), pinpointing a center without guides, musician's ears, ambidextrous, logic.
OH wait, don't forget, I will avoid being other people (since being other people over complicates things), since there's no role other than myself (or fictional character(s) very much like myself) which I'm good at playing.

* never actually had the chance to do this, so I really can't say if I'd like it or not.

Probably more I could add, but this is what came off the top of my head.

I have a knack at forumulating revelant, yet edgy, response photos (or 'memes') and often post them here to harass a certain smp director's sense of sanity

Exhibit A:

But real talk though, I'm learning to code as an optional class, hopefully get to use it productively someday. Guess that could be considered a hobby!

If you're starting with programming, I'd recommend starting with a dynamic language like Python, Perl or Lua first. Java and C++ - even with their popularity - are not really the best places to start. Like tnmjimbob once said to me: "C++ or Java will have you pulling your hairs out."

Seriously the Syntax of Lua/Python is much easier and simpler to understand. Start with one of those languages ^^

Unless it's for school. If it's for school, I blame them for being too mainstream.

response photos (or 'memes')
image macros*, although they're a type of memes, I'll grant you that.

Me in a nutshell: smart, awesome, obnoxious, I think I'm being funny when I'm not being funny, I am currently working to become a certified professional grammar nazi, among other things. It's all true. Okay, maybe not the certified professional grammar nazi part, but everything else is true. Like, right now I think I'm being funny, but really it's just sad how unfunny I am.

No, but seriously, though, my hobbies:
  • competitional debating
  • music (includes singing, playing bass, other music-related stuff)
  • games
  • reading
  • writing
  • watching hours and days and weeks and months worth of anime, various TV shows and films
  • procrastination
  • maybe some other -ations as well *cough* I mean what who said that
  • probably something else as well

My talents:
  • competitional debating
  • logic of any kind, really
  • music
  • math
  • physics
  • bunch of other stuff as well which I can't really remember at the moment

  • Sad

I never said that! Java is actually quite a good first language, as it close to the syntax of other C type languages and doesn't require memory management and like. What I actually said was that learning assembly first would result in you tearing out your hair.

Could you narrow it down a bit? That's quite a lot to list.
EDIT: All other ones above added!
(Pls don't do so many ;-; Only do the ones you MOST enjoy and are good at)
