World Map as DoD Map

Do you think that the World Map used in the Blocktopian expedition should be used as the SMP map for DoD?

Not only for Solitude, but possibly a zombie apocalypse server. That would be neat. The whole world over run by zombies.

The world isn't updated to 1.7 for one, so that would make 1.7 basically useless

Plus it kinda ruins the story aspects of the server to have the real world, and not the "Discordia" world.

I'de like to see something similar to this. However, as the blocktopia expedition map is a scale replica of earth it's pretty ugly (e.g. pointy mountains, weird biomes, grass growing in the water) so if this map is used I hope it undergoes some revision first.

Maps that huge will never be used as a normal smp map. It's toxic for gameplay.

That's not to say we aren't looking to use the map for...other sources

I realized the odds of us getting this are very slim for one very annoying feature...
The Atlantic Ocean comes up 130 blocks, the clouds are under water...
