The server will be opened with a new map tomorrow at meeting time (11pm GMT) - You will be placed at the new spawn with no items, as you were when SMP first started.
I have vouched to try keep this map running for AT THE LEAST, two months - Most forums posts (factions,etc.) will be deleted - so save what information you need.
I will only give you seven notices about the new map
- Spawn is now PVP protected, so people who wish to avoid PVP may establish there.
- Spawn has NO underground resources - you must venture outside into the PVP area in order to get them if you want them.
- There is a VERY large body of water, but also a large body of land.
- The map has the usual mix of ongoing flatlands followed by large mountains.
- There is quite a few villages
- There is no mycellum/shroomcows.
- We are not releasing any overhead maps of the map this time.
Once again, apologies for the inconveniences and I hope (and i think you will!) you enjoy the new server!
