Wait, what!?! The books are going to be made into movies!!? :O I won't see it... I do NOT want the books to be ruined as the people who translate it into the movie butcher it and exclude the most important details!(like harry potter and numerous other examples) IF you see it though and it actually is good in that respect please tell me :3

One thing I already know is that the District 12 Mayor's Daughter who gives Katniss the Mockingjay pin isn't in it, and Prim gives it to her, instead.

its usually good to give books that have been made into movies a try. they are mostly crap, but hey, look at the lord of the rings series. not as good as the books, but still awesome.

Well that only takes a very small amount for the overall awesomeness. I still think you should give it a go. It doesn't matter as much for me because I read the first book back during spring break of 2011 >_>

@fenna It depends if you like reading or not. Personally I like both, but if you want more of an adventure, a book is probably the thing for you. If your lazy and don't feel like reading, then theres the movie.

All I care about is The Hobbit really.
The Avengers, Spiderman and Dark Knight look great, but The Hobbit looks amazing.

I hope the Hunger Games movie doesn't get screwed up and suck. The books are amazing.
