Hey guys, I recently got an idea for a new weapon and wanted to share it:

The timebomb
Cost: 8 points
Block: I’d say Purple or Indigo cloth

It would work like this: You type /t [set time: min. 3 – max. 30 secs]
e.g. /t 7, then you put down the block and it will detonate 7 secs after placement
within a usual TnT radius. You can only place 1 at a time. (it's a bit similar to TNT and C4)
You know when it will explode, unlike your enemies ;)
The /t [number] will stay until you type a new number, for example when you set /t 5 all the next timebombs placed will have 5 secs, you type /t 10 and they have 10 seconds, etc.
(sorry for the crappy explanaiton, my english sucks)
If no number is given, it explodes at a random amount of time (3-30).

The price is 8, cause I don’t think it would be a such a great kill-bringer,
though it could be interesting for KOTH/CP/CTF maps.
It‘s also not destroyable by punching.

There is 1 Upgrade: Big-TnT radius - ???? points

Tell me what you think about the weapon :) If it's a cool/good or stupid/uselles idea.
(I don’t know if this or something similar was already suggested and rejected, if then, sorry ._.)

I think its a good weapon, as long as time time is 3 seconds or more.
And with that said, the price of 8 sounds good, since its a normal tnt that explodes later.

Buuut, the upgrade of Big-TnT doesnt sound good to me.
People can just get the upgrade, do /t 3 (for normal tnt time)
And get Big-TnT for 8 points instead of 15 (not sure if its 15)

Also being able to place more then one seems overpowered.
No no, I didn't mean you can place more than one at a time,
I meant the /t command that all the next bombs you place have that detonating-time until you type a new number.
(as I said, it was crappily explained, sorry )

True, didn't think about that.

(Big-TnT is 12 btw ;))

Umm, may I ask what the point is? Its just TNT with a longer fuse and more typing. On CP and KOTH maps you can just place TNT on the point without having to type and giving your opponents time to escape. There is also the problem with the big tnt upgrade. It would also cause server lag to keep track of all of these.

I thought it could just be a little exciting when the enemy doesnt know how long the weapon takes to explode on a control point for example, or when a player runs in your direction.
But yeah, it's probably not really needed :/

Thanks for the answers though :)

People also don't know how long it will take before someone will decide to use /d, some people even place the c4 as tactic on the hill, without using it, just to back people off! :p
