(I say these count as pixel art, because I didn't have a tablet and made most of them a pixel at a time, or recolored while they are pixelated.)
Back from when I attempted to make RPG Games through RPG Maker VX.

Pokemon sprites probably also count, and I have a good amount of ones that I made that I personally like.
Reminds me of myself - relaxed and easygoing.

This is what I like to call- Wyr- err... a chicken pokemon sprite.
This one was also one of my avatars. One of my more favorites.
We walk like-a da kool kats.
Try to guess what pokemon are in these! :D

Anyone remember this as my first avatar here?

What program would you guys suggest for pixel art, just for simplicity of being able to put down a single pixel rather than a brush?
Also, any programs that go with the above that can also create and save animated gifs?
For now, I'll use Photoshop.

I found a free program perfect for pixel art, not sure if it is for animating, though.

It has layers, a zoom feature, a grid when zoomed in, and a large basic set of colors. :D
