I know a lot of you won't like the sound of this, but Aqua got permabanned automatically for triggering the permaban action on the forum warning points system. Basically, he got warned too many times, and the forums said "nope" and banned him.

If anyone wants to know how many points are given and everything, here's something from the TOS.

• PERMA BAN: 20 pts
• 1 WEEK BAN: 10 pts
• 1 pt: General Warning (our all-purpose warning poke) - 1 week expiration
• 2 pts: Useless Post/Duplicate Topic/Necropost - 2 week expiration
• 2 pts: Signature that breaks new guidelines - 2 week expiration
• 4 pts: Trolling - 4 week expiration
• 5 pts: Personal Attack - 4 week expiration
• 8 pts: Spamming - 2 months expiration
• 12 pts: Advertising - non bot - 2 months expiration
• 13 pts: Posting Hacks/Piracy - 2 months expiration
• 15 pts: Discrimination (homophobia, sexism, racism) - 6 months expiration
• 15 pts: Pornography - 6 months expiration
• 20 pts: Advertising - bot - no expiration (automatic permanent ban)

Apologies to those who want Aqua unbanned on the forums. It's probably not going to happen.

It might be a temp week or month ban. Idk what his warning point level is though. I don't recall him being banned for a week already, so unless he got a whopping 11 points... he might be back after a week.

I sure a Controller+ would be able to clarify which of the 2 happened.

Regardless on what happened, I think that we should realize that none of us are above the Community Rules/Guidelines and that we should try not to repeat the mistakes that were made.

he was banned because whoever issued the warns didn't like aqua and was probably happy to get rid of him

which is a noble reason, really, except we should all be equal before the rules and so on and so forth and i really don't have motivation to start arguing about this again, but from what i heard from aqua, he was warned enough to ban him for a single thread even without any previous infraction points (18 points for a single thread afaik) so whoever issued the warns might as well have just used the ban button

this was all for a stupid meme and some usual banter, so i'll let you all draw your conclusions from that
