Well, from what I hear BB crashes often, due to overload from some command that screwed up or another

It says that the "connection is refused" on status.blocktopia.net -- Perhaps it just needs a good restart.

Indeed :D

First, try to get hold of the servers Director. (in this case there is none currently, so that would be moot). Check on IRC / TS, if they aren't there, check if you see any of the Admins (Deadl0ck, Malco) online. They can restart stuff too usually. And if it's down for 2-3hrs, send me a PM.

Servers that are down don't usually fix themselves. And if a server is down for planned maintenance, we will tweet about it / post a thread.

Yea, i cant get on today (2/19/13) and the sign says that there are 10 ppl on.

Try '/slist' it shows who's online and it says the server is offline when well, the server is offline! Tell your friends of this amazing command.
