Yeah but being there live gives you the feeling of interaction. Making fun with the other listeners in the TS chat. Sitting, waiting in the lobby, excited for the meeting channel to open up. It's an experience on it's own and definitely better than reading a small recap list.
Everything you've described here is something that can be achieved through the regular/more frequent use of teamspeak. If you like the meetings then you'll also like the feeling of interaction from being on at a normal point in the day

Regardless, that is somewhat of an offtopic pet peeve of mine, and not really all that relevant, but I still think at the end of the day a recap is much more clear than a meeting. From what you described, you've been logging on for friendliness, not information
