[Advice wanted] Tall Tree Territory

I made this terrain but have no idea what to put in it, anyone have some ideas?

The trees themselves look rather evil (if there is such a thing as trees being evil), but perhaps some sort of swamp or creepy buildings would be cool.

Go for a lake, some terrain, and a stream with a village made of the same dark wood. And try to make it look haunted and ruined or something like that.
