Hey guys, this is my second map submission and as you have probably seen from the title, it is called Kokiri Forest. Which is based off of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's own Kokiri Forest. Or the village that you start out in when starting the game. Unfortunately there was no room for the Deku Tree, but we have maps that represent that anyway.

I want to give a shout out to Jappa, Zippy, and especially Jk for helping me with this map.

Now the screen shots do not show too much; I did not include every single bit of land but it shows how this map is similar to the game.
For the Op+ : the forested area on the top of the map is not playable, and should not be accessed.
Now aside from the map, Jk has made many secrets in the map. Now I didn't post any screenshots of them except the results (Sword and name room, and Triforce) so you will have to find them yourselves.
Now for the people that think adding secrets is not a good idea. This was almost neccesary because there really isn't too much to the map, and the secrets will help out with the survivability for the Humans.

I will say that in some of the secrets there is a jumpcourse, and a maze, so have fun.

Reason not valid. It's always better to add more content than adding secrets on a map if you want to make it easier for humans to survive.I don't really feel like explaining the whole thing with secrets again but most of it is in my thread int he map submission.

For the rest I love the map, not too complicated but still very interesting - I also just have a weakness for the Ocarina of Time so... :p

well the said secrets are not hard to locate which is why i didnt post pictures. They are all interconnected in some way.

And for that weak spot there, you're gonna hate me cause ima be makin a few zelda theme maps

Looks amazing and can I help out with the next one?
I don't see why not, I'm just having troubles deciding what to do next. There are so many games / settings. I was thinking the starting town in the Wind Waker, but it has been so long since I have played that one.

It looks nice and I think it would be good to play on but I have a couple suggestions

1. Your hills are very square (might be something to work on!)
2. It is a bit empty in some places so in future maps you might want to think about that
3. Please don't use /tree so much, handmade trees look, work better, and give the map a much better feeling

Good map overall though, worth a test definitely!

zomg, it looks really close to the ocarina of time kokiri forest :D. it looks really great, if you want you could add leaves as the grass that had rupees in the beginning :) more stylish and should fill in some empty spaces, but i really love the map, and itd be fine without it :)

Ya, we were looking at the hills and really didn't have the space to fix them, but they are in a not playable area along with the trees.

The empty space is just me not being able to visualize the space in my head before building, Next time im gonna do an outline on the map first and build up from there.

You say that the forest area is off-limits, but I don't see anything that would keep players from going up there, might I suggest some bedrock at the top of the hillsides? That way players couldn't staircase up to the forest area. Or perhaps just make the forested area playable in the first place?

Would be nice if the place was actually some kind of a secret area to be get up; Possibly making it about 5-8 blocks higher, then make it a secret (No need to box it off if it is 5-8 blocks higher and 1 block out from the Secret is Op_air!)

Yeah, from about half way up its all op aired, and the blocks themselves are acually op / door blocks. Any area that looked like it had the accesibility of getting up there has been properly blocked. (as far as I can see)

Well I wanted to keep the theme / playability of the map as close to the game as I could, so that's the only reason I didn't want people up there. I just had tonnes of empty space on the one side, (under the forest) so I let JKangaroo just go nuts and build secret rooms and such. But, based on gameplay if it makes rotation, alterations can be made.
