Texture pack

Can somebody please explain to me how to put in a texture pack?

>Start Minecraft
>Log In
>From Main Menu click Texture Packs
>Click Open Texture Pack Folder
>Drag and Drop Texture Pack into there
>Select Texture Pack in Minecraft from Texture Pack menu
>Back out
>Play
>???
>Go bankrupt

Just some clarification, you drag the .zip file into the Texture Pack folder.
