Typically, a town driver would switch someone they thought was mafia with someone they thought would be targeted. Which was which?

I didn't really have any suposicions of mafia at the time, I switched hunter (be living to be town) and Defiant, someone who I felt wasn't on the mafs radar as much, and I had some suposicions of him early in the day.

Okay, let's stick to what we know.
I know Ltin's lying about something.
How do I know this?
I'm a sort of hybrid doctor/jailkeeper; I say hybrid because I protect from any and all night actions, including roleblocking, and I do not roleblock my target. And I chose him, for the simple reason that he had already "outed" himself as a one, and why not protect my fellow doctor? Obviously, if he'd switched, Hunter would have gotten my protection(which he didn't), and if he'd bodyblocked, he'd be dead instead of Hunter.
Hence, Ltin's lying about something or another. But if it's his target, actions, or role in general...? I have no idea.
