In three of the main and most popular of the servers there is a currency;
AoD: Brains
RoF: Cookies
DoD: Topians

I think it would be awesome if there was a currency bureau or a bank or something to exchange currency for other currency. So if you loved RoF and then you realise that you would prefer to play AoD but you have a crap rank you could exchange cookies for brains. Also if you loved AoD and had loads of brains but you wanted to start a village on DoD you could exchange your brains for topians so you could start a rich clan quickly and so on

I know some players might think this could be "cheating" like for example a person with a really high rank on RoF and a lot of cookies could become God Of Brains with only 1 hour of playing time if they exchanged for a load of brains

I don't think the exchanging should profit the player (you would get less then you gave) because as I said before it could be "cheating". But I do think that if you have a lot of money on a server you haven't played for a while you should be able to exchange that money for a BIT of money.
(I used to keen it out on DoD but after three months I stopped playing it completely and I have a fair a
amount of money that I can't do anything with xD)
(Also I have no idea what the exchange rate should be since it would be pretty complicated and I'm just too lazy to check it out)
I know this suggestion will probably be pretty debatable because it would be a HUGE change to Blocktopia but I think it would be for the best in the long run. :joyful:

This is an interesting idea, but there are a few things to consider:

How easy is it to get Brains, Cookies, or Topians from each respective server?

Would you get the same amount of money from each server during a certain time period?

1 hour = 300 Brains/300 Cookies/300 Topians
OR does it vary?
1 hour = 300 Brains/500 cookies/ 50 Topians

When the current SMP server retires for a new one, would players be able to trade their Topians or would trading be banned after the announcement of the server being closed? (What happens if there was "Insider Trading" when a player trades all of their Topians before the server closes? Haha I'm totally having fun with this.)

Here's an idea:
If this were really fleshed out (with a bunch of math) and implemented, I think that trading the server currency for Tokens would be much easier than trading a server's currency for another currency.

1 Token = 100 Brains/200 Cookies/ 100 Topians
So when a player trades their currency for a token, it would cost twice as much to buy a token.
200 Brains = 1 Token
400 Cookies = 1 Token
200 Topians = 1 Token
And that 1 Token could be redeemed in the server or in the lobby.
***The amounts that I mentioned aren't set or really thought out***

Overall, I think that this idea is interesting, but is it necessary? There may be plugins to implement this idea, but would it get too complicated?

Its an interesting idea, however I don't want the most active RoFian becoming the richest DoDer due to the fact they have nothing else to spend their money on. In my opinion if you want to get rich on one server you need to put down the time otherwise you don't deserve it. Thats just my opinion, very interesting suggestion though!

(Also 50 topians an hour? You need to work on your income!)

While it's certainly an interesting idea that I quite like, it would work more for RoF, AoD, and Infection, as there are minimal but fair ways to obtain currency or what have you. DoD has a broken and unstable economy that is easy to grind. It could be interesting to have a set Bank in the lobby that you exchange currencies with their respective exchange rates and there are individual storages for each money type. It's an interesting idea to entertain.
