Just a pretty straightforward suggestion for an event:
Organize a community-wide build event one weekend where everyone participates in one build on create. Someone can record it and make a cool timelapse for it.
See:
Besides the obvious parts of being helpful to the community in terms of advertising, I honestly think it would be a fun event to get everyone to work together to work on something.
Staff would need to:
1) Decide on what structure to build
2) Decide where to build it/provide terrain to build it, if applicable
3) Decide if there is a texture pack you want everyone to use
4) Decide when/how
It would have to be handbuilt, no VoxelSniper or WorldEdit.
It might be easier to have this event held on a separate event server.
Incentive on other servers to play might be worthwhile. Get cookies/tokens/money on respective servers for participating in the event.
