EscapeRestart

Hey guys,

So recently I've begun work on a Sound Pack for Minecraft 1.7, and I'd like some feedback.

Now, you may ask yourself, 'What is a Sound Pack anyways?'.
BACKGROUND
A sound pack is basically a Resource Pack for sounds. With the 1.6 update, textures packs were converted to Resource Packs, which could do more and had more potential. But most people haven't realized the potential for resource packs. Most still focus on textures. But play Jeoffrey's Chamber, a Single-Player map experience driven almost solely by Resource Packs, and be one with the Resource Pack.

My vision for Sound Packs is simple: you love your favorite Resource Pack (DokuCraft, Faithful, JoliCraft, etc.) but you want more. You want a better experience. So you plop in a Sound Pack and WHAM! instant immersion. Walking is more realistic. So is eating, and the music slams all sorts of emotions in your face, forcing you to realize that the mere concept of Minecraft, a man stuck in a world full of exploding green monsters, portals to hell and trying to kill a dragon is a beautiful, yet terrifying idea.

CURRENT SITUATION
As of now, the first Sound Pack is incomplete, still in its infancy. This thread will be updated as I make progress with it, but as of now I want to ask you guys some initial questions.

Is a Sound Pack something you might want?
Would you use it often if it appealed to your likes?
And what are some ideas, or concerns even, about the creation of Sound Packs?

And feedback/answers are greatly appreciated, I'm just testing the waters for what I think could be a cool thing to bring to the game!

Thanks! -brownlee123
