Uh although I'm not a staff member I'd personally think mods that give you a disadvantage should be allowed. Just to be sure I'd always recommend asking about mods in this thread.

Well, couldn't you then see stuff that was in the lava? Water is transparent, lava is not, and so wouldn't such a mod be considered giving an unfair advantage because then people could see things underneath the lava that people without the mod can't?
