Alright I just got back from school and saw all this happened. So basically we will be going with a no-lunch (janitor is sad he likes lunch) unless some huge slip happens from what I've understood. For now I'm just gonna joke vote, terribly explain the vote then unvote and vote no-lunch (all after I've had lunch ironically except not really cuz it's lynch and I'm just gonna stop typing)

Janitor is normally a mafia role, correct? It could be just for the sake of roleplay, hence it was in italics, but just something that I picked up
Now to explain my lynch vote. You see jivvi has 5 letters and 5-2=3 which means Half life 3 confirmed! AHA..... Er no that's not right. OH OH IVE GOT IT. 3x2=6 and 6 3 times is 666 which could only mean jivvi is illuminarty WHICH..... Could be a good thing since SCP is a secret organization and..... You know what never mind fuck this

The typical opening is whether to lynch, and if so who.
I'm kind of in the middle atm, but I feel we should wait to see how many people drop overnight.

It kind of wouldn't be fair to lynch on the first day, because if you did, it's basically wish for luck that the person you lynched was mafia. No leads, and you just lynched an innocent. Then again, if you managed to vote mafia, whelp, lucky us! We got one out early.
I shall remain neutral for now.

I haven't finished reading the thread yet but before I do I'd like to agree to this.
Sam walks up and around, getting to know the facility where he'll be staying at for a bit. He remembers how most of these places of almost no organization... so he might as well figure out where everything was as soon as he could. It doesn't take long before he hears rumours about the Chaos Insurgency. He snorts derisively, he hears these rumours, without fail, at every new experimental site he goes to. Looking around, he can tell that no one else seems to be taking anything seriously their first day here... he continues walking as he grumbles about the 'irresponsible' youth these days and how they never take anything seriously anymore...
Five pages before I even see the thread... and naturally, all nonsense \o/ I personally believe in talking on the first day, before just blatantly going for a lynch or no-lynch, though I do tend to lean more towards no-lynching anyways. I think that we should get everyone talking in here today and maybe a few random ideas thrown in before we decide to actually try and end the day.
So we have 28 people in here, means we probably have a decent amount of Mafia with us (maybe even multiple teams like Masquerade?) and all sorts of random roles that can do goodness knows what. We'll probably get a slightly better idea of what we're dealing with after this day, but we might as well see what people say today, in case we learn anything from it or can formulate the beginnings of plans for future days. Not a lot so far has given us much to go off of, but there's almost always a little to see from everything, and certainly more once we talk some more.

Instead I will likely end up reserving myself to the key points that come to mind as I run through this thread (I expect this to be hell in the beginning to follow).
I don't think we necessarily should lynch on day 0 though most people forget the extreme scum hunting opportunities from day 0. If you take notes and aren't quick to dismiss everything there is much great knowledge to be learned on this day. Remember not to play too emotionally, many players are quick to accuse those against them and rarely turn their heads to those siding up to them for support.
finally, I wish everyone the best of luck regardless of their role!
