N00b guide to downgrading/upgrading minecraft.

I already noticed few people, that don't know what to do, when their launcher automatically upgraded MC to never version, so I created this simple guide.
No need for MCNostalgia or MCVC, you can downgrade it manually using default (standard) launcher.

1. Select your profile and click "Edit Profile".

2. Click on Use Version list, and choose your desired version, then click "Save".
After you save your profile, you can play on version, that you chose.

I think Mojang should add kid-friendly information, that you can choose desired version by editing profile.

And even then, it was useless because although I had re-typed email and password about 10 flippin' times I STILL COULD NOT LOG IN. How was I able to edit profile when the thing kept kicking me out?

And why only today it lets me log in and edit my profile?

Maybe you kept pressing wrong keys constantly, so you couldn't login into minecraft, but it let you today.

Screencloud takes about 3 seconds to upload the picture normally (99% of the time), and taking the picture takes about 10 seconds, imgur is slower. Also I'm prejudice against imgur.

Well, it looks like no one has trouble with switching from 1.6.4 to 1.7.2 and vice versa.

Bumping very old thread, as there is 1.7.(6/7/8/9) version of MC, that doesn't run on our servers - they are 1.7.5.

Few players have troubles with it.
Can someone make it sticky, so players can see this thread, when new version of MC comes?
