It feels like 1.6 but will NEVER be like 1.6
I've recently been playing a new mod for CS:GO called CS:CO.
As you can see from the trailer, the whole idea of the mod is to bring back CS 1.6 features but keep some core features from CS:GO. The game has all the old maps, the old weapons, and it uses the old movement system too! It also has some CS:GO fixes and tweaks. You can even download workshop maps and use them with this mod. This was made by one person, though he did borrow some maps and weapon models from others.
If you ever enjoyed CS 1.6, or even CS:S I suggest you install this mod and play it for a while. It brings back great memories, and it plays just like 1.6 would. There's all types of servers running, and the community is alive and well. I even suggest this for players that only play CS:GO, it is really fun and you get to experience 1.6!
