100x100x100 is a bit big for my tastes, but it looks pretty nice. That's the thing though, it looks nice, but it's just a little bit too typical/boring. Nothing quite unique that screams to me, "yes, I want to play this". I think it'd be a fine map to play on, but in my opinion RoF has enough foresty/jungle maps. Also, if that is lava on the stone section in the water below, it needs to be surrounded by bedrock. It will melt and flood on annoyed+ rounds, seeing as that's either cobble or gravel.

Wow, that village is really hidden. From a terraforming perspective, I think that the base of the waterfalls, especially the larger one, could have been executed much better than what you have right now. It just seems like you poured water and forgot to edit the lower portion so that it would flow more nicely.

Also, it looks like it could use a cave for players to adventure into and maybe find some treasure? And I think that it would have been neat to have a house or two hanging off the edge of the cliff.

The big waterfall - Loosened it up a bit.
Got rid of some of the wall.
Added two small caves under the big waterfall -

Okay! I added more!
  • Made the cliff-side less choppy:

Get rid of those bedrock walls. That is one thing I hate in maps.
Other then that, I think the imrpovements you made to the cliff side are really good, I would like to see it in RoF, but maybe try to add a bit more at the bottom?

I like the overall lay out of this map and it looks like lots of work has gone into it. I would like to see it on ROF, with some small changes such as more houses or ships on the cliff/near the cliff or in the water below. Make it exciting to explore and to build a safe house on it.

Perhaps I can make an old, broken down ship in the rocks. It'll be as if the tribe found the place after someone else did. But, I can't work on this for a week, I'll be gone this sunday. Is there any way I can resubmit this when I get back?

While this map looks very nice, I feel like this map is too much like a couple of the maps we have. I'm not sure what could be done to make it feel not like the other maps. I feel the spawn should be moved higher so spawn does not flood so quickly. At the maps current state, I don't feel like this should be added.

Alright, Im thinking this should be decided soon. I think Im done updating it. (If you're not already working on deciding it, that is.) Also, moved the spawn up on the cliff. (Too lazy to take a screenshot of it.)

The head staff will decide on the map whenever they please to; most of the time they are just too busy. Everyone who posted in this section has been in the same position as you, some get a few days other have to wait a month, you're just going to have to be patient right now. :)

As Wii already stated, it does seem like some of the other maps. Try changing the biome perhaps? But having stone and grass maps has gotten a bit redundant, and its not what the staff looks for in the current map submissions. Or maybe custom trees instead of generated ones? Anyways best of luck to you for the rest of the submission.
