well the entire point of d0 is to allow everyone to get a word in so they don't feel left out. it literally has no actual reason to it. nightstart is the way the game was originally played and it gives at least some players some starting point on which to base their observations and discussionThe entire point of skipping day 0 is to avoid weird wonky Aqua-on-steroids madness, no?
the fact that some of the current players are incapable of not shitposting in the beginning of the game is entirely unrelated to day/nightstart
So everyone that has someone voting for them has one vote except for Aqua. From what I can tell the options are between me, mulbery, Aqua, and Ooglie.
I'm obviously not going to vote for myself, and I don't think mulbery is very suspicious.
I'm torn between Aqua and Ooglie however.
It would be advantageous for the mafia to bus the paparazzi, so maybe we need to keep an eye for that sort of thing?
Here's what I think. That whole Aqua Oog thing is still suspicious to me. I say we lynch Aqua. If Aqua turns out of the innocent then I'll still be kinda suspicious of Ooglie, but not as much as now. If he is mafia, Ooglie is clear (at least for now) in my book, as I feel a bus this early with everyone being a pr is not a good strategy. Unless Aqua is the paparazzi. If Aqua is the paparazzi, then oog is my FOS.

The fact is, n1 happened, Pr roles used there pr roles etc. etc. and now we're here, but unlike last game nobody has come out to share their information like Erik did last game, we're stuck observing each other and by that I mean me shitposting as I always do (I really don't get why people think that's suspicious at this point, it's my legitimate play style lmao), waiting for some damning evidence to come out which most likely isn't gonna happen. I understand why nolynch is bad, it gives the mafia another free night to take out anybody they like, while we miss the chance to potentially lynch a mafia guy. However, at this point we have little to go off, I have reason to suspect Mulbery of 2 things now:
1) His original post etc. etc.
2) How he's wording his replies, yes he's trying to be shitpost-y and friendly and trying to act as innocent as possible trying to brush off the previous accusation, but I was mafia with him last game, the way he writes his posts is in a completely different manner, which seems completely unreasonable, If allowed I will printscreen discussion from the previous mafia game in mafia chat, if needed.
I also really think Ltin is trying to push a lynch on me too hard, as well as coming up with that previous theory (which made no sense).

it's not gonna happen because it's fucking stupid, follow the cop won't work in this setup because of the gadget. even if they aren't explicitly stating their findings then that can still affect their opinions. you need to learn to read between the lines to play this game
also are you legitimately defending shitposting as a playstyle? if yes, then i'm willing to go for a policy lynch on aqua because your playstyle is directly detrimental to the town by causing unnecessary chaos for the sake of it

Well fine I'll speak.
We should all just claim right now and have a standoff with the counterclaims. Because realistically what the Mafia will want to do is have all of them claim civilian, so that we'll be lynching from the vanilla townie pool. If they counterclaim a power role, we will naturally lynch between those two so we have 0 chance of lynching a vanilla townie. So what's likely to happen is we have 8 civilian claims + the third party claiming something, likely civilian too. This will mean all of the town PR's are proven, and they can work their magic on the claimed civilians.
Sure, we'll have the doctor right out in the open and the gadget is going to kill the doctor+nurse that night along with the 2 people the doctor protects. However there is a pretty good chance, that if the Doctor protects two civilians claims, one or both of them could be Mafia. Meaning the gadget will take Mafia members down with him. Not to mention the drunk has a 1/8 chance of blocking the gadget, or can choose to block the nurse so that the nurse won't die for visiting the doctor. And maybe the Doctor doesn't have to protect people, and can just not visit anyone. That way there won't be a massive amount of people dying and the Mafia can only kill one civilian per night anyways. Some of it is gonna come down to luck/right use of actions but surely we can make this work!
Maybe even, nurse should claim doctor and doctor should claim nurse to make it harder for the Mafia to hit the right person with gadget. Because you know, they might have claimed each others roles.. or not
