I know people will have mixed opinions about this, but I feel that players' items should be temporarily removed for KoTL, because more advanced players have an unfair advantage over others. I spoke to someone in-game about this and they claimed it was fair because they "had to work their way up, just like everyone else". I'm probably the only one that gets so petty over a little game, but in a nutshell it's like playing Monopoly with one person holding all the money.
