[BCOLOR=transparent]Rituals of Fire has three different gamemodes to diversify the Lava Survival experience: Survival, Classic and Deathrun. Although they all build upon the basic idea of lava survival, they execute it differently and offer different challenges. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Survival mode is the original RoF gamemode and remains the most popular. In Survival rounds, you need to gather resources and materials yourself and use them to create safe houses to survive the incoming waves of lava. Upon death, you lose all of your items. You can get XP, buy items, and your survival inventory carries over into the lobby and the plots world. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]During classic rounds, you have access to an infinite amount of blocks. You do not need to worry about health or food. Upon death, you will be teleported back to spawn. The focus of this gamemode lies in building: Letting the creative part of you out. It's more relaxed than Survival. Classic map names are characterized with a [Classic] tag-- Like [Classic]Dual_Craters. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Deathrun rounds are shorter and tend to be focused on running. Its key difference is the fact that you do not need to build a shelter for the lava, but outrun it. These maps are parkour-based and require skill to navigate the course. You must reach checkpoints and the winners’ area in time before lava catches up to you. Deathrun maps are characterized with a dr_, like dr_melange. [/BCOLOR]
