Hey Blocktiopians!
Well I had an idea that came to me during the day and it is to have a hunger games every month on the 5th and I think it is going to be a boatloads of fun!
like if you support this idea and leave thread on what you think about this idea have a nice day BYE!.:)

I think this would be a cool idea, but every month on the 5th? It wouldn't seem very special to me, since it would be played every month, I think it should be something for players to get excited and pumped up about every time it's around the corner. Also, won't it be relatively close to AoD, except there will be only one winner?

My problem with this is theres a billion hunger/survival games servers out there, we already have AoD and why would you want it for only one day? I just don't see many people coming on during that one day. I'd rather focus on, if another server gets added, it being a more permanent server and something that hasn't already been done personally.

We as players can't decide anything, as shown above some people are in favour of the suggestion and some aren't.
A administrator (GmK, Deadl0ck, or Malcovent) must decide what to do with the suggestion. So, adding more posts to this thread BEFORE they post will not make much of a difference.

This idea doesn't really stand out to me. Yes the hunger games are amazing but they've been done over so many times on other servers I see no point to adding a server based off them. Plus we already have a PvP server, AoD why not just add the hunger games as a gamemode perhaps to the server? Generally I don't think this deserves it's own server but I do think it would make a interesting addition to AoD.

Meh, I honestly don't see much point in adding a HG mode to AoD, since the only difference between that and regular is its FFA and everyone starts in the center of the map around chests. Maybe if it picks up Steam Baker93 would be intersted but really don't see why a full new gamemode needs to be added for a few differences.

Hunger Games has endless numbers of servers to dedicated to it. Throwing in a hunger games map will be a fruitless effort, and frankly, doesn't work with the AoD concept.

As such, I really do not see this is as a realistic suggestion. The mechanics between Hunger Games and AoD are enormously different and attempting to compete with such large, established servers using this gamemode, would be but extreme optimism.

Oh look. We've done it before.
As others have said, there are lots of big, active communities out there which are mainly focused on the Survival Games (and the even more popular Hunger Games) servers and I feel like we actually wouldn't be able to make our servers as good as theirs, and probably not get as many players.Not because our developers are bad or anything, but those guys spend months/years already on making their servers the best and people would probably be sticking to their favourite hunger games servers. Oh, and the Hunger Games Event Server wasn't that big of a success. Why try again?

If Blocktopia would get a Hunger/Survival games server, pretty much 97% of all the players on there would be Blocktopians, which were just excited about a new server being added and after a week or two, the server would be dead. Did I mention we did it before, and it wasn't really a hit or even active? So, no. No Hunger Games server please.
