Forum Steam Integration - Looking for Opinions

I bar slides out with various areas of functionality (add user on steam, view inventory, view pictures, view games, view photos, etc.). It's quite nifty actually.
now it doesn't show the status thing and is waaaaaay less awkward than it was without the other removed stuff

Better than before- though the staff banner having the same color as your username and the same text as your title is a bit awkwardly redundant. [applies to all staff ranks with banners]
The layout itself looks nice
Rather sad the status message banner was removed, it gave the member card on the side some personality that the extra information(ratings/trophies/etc that were luckily removed) didn't provide and were rather useless.
They didn't take up that much room, and though they are basically useless, they were a nice thing to come across now and then, especially if it was a status you were interested in or enjoyed reading (I know for certain I won't be clicking on people's member profiles or the new status messages tab often, but that's just me).
Everything else being removed makes it much cleaner however, and is a nice touch up.
Although question: why is it that I am able to view the full member card including the steam integrated tab when I'm not logged in, but the minute I log in the member cards(that actually have it) loose the steam tab below the avatars/messages counter, because at the moment it seems rather bland.

This. I was confused when Malc said that he fixed it because I didn't see the steam card either. So yeah, I also see the steam card when I'm not logged in.
Removed the scrolling status for now.

Is it possible to get another gradient/a set color for the status bar like the other things have while changes are being made Malcovent <3? I think the current one looks kinda ugly once the statuses get too long (But that might just be me).

I like how the steam thing blends in, but I'd very much like it if I could still see peoples ratings without having to go to their profile. And before you say "thereisnospaceermagherd", could it be possible to reduce the distance between the username/title and the rest. There is so much whitespace I'm sure we can add something there. Kinda like this:
