Short Lore: This civilization was built upon the power of the void. Using this power, they were capable of ripping holes in reality. By doing this they discovered the end. With this new found land that they discovered, the civilization mostly abandoned the main world to build their kingdom in the endless void of the end. Unbeknownst to them, the void slowly corrupted them physically, mentally, and their magic. Those who saw the corruption fled to the main world. But they discovered that it was too late to change their fate. Those who survived on the mainland and in the end. Helplessly watched themselves and their kingdom crumble and wither away to the point of an endless death for both.
Due to the civilization leaving the main world, traces of them are extremely hard to find and there is extremely little knowledge that this super power once existed to historians. There are tiny hints of its existence in myths to scare children, but none of them are taken seriously by the academic community.
