The old faded text had seen its share of weathering from the rains and snows of the years. The rickety old wood was barely keeping itself together, but it was no surprise to the people of the city. Much like the sign, they too had once been hearty and full of life. But they had been worn and weathered by invasions, raids, disasters, and their own special share of other miseries.
When this sign had hung in the town, the world was a different place, a brighter one. Children would run down the streets laughing, old men sat around smoking and telling stories, and young people from all over Discordia would sit in the pubs socializing.
Unfortunately, like most good things, it would not come to last. For on the northern front came a force of such unspeakable evil, such unbridled malice, nobody dares to whisper their name. It was a force of which the very idea made men limp and pale with fear.
The land of Discordia has fallen into disarray. You awake in the middle of the town square, with basic supplies and no idea what you're doing there. Will you unify Discordia to destroy the evil forces? Will you let that evil consume you? WIll you do nothing at all, and fend for yourself? While an answer to this question would be well-placed, the only one able to answer it is you yourself. So go, Discordians! Seize this world and make it into your own. Your destiny awaits you.
Welcome to Dusk of Discordia. In just 7 hours, this December 20th, 2013, Dusk of Discordia will be released approximately 15 minutes after the meeting. We know you all have been waiting for this moment, and we sure have too!
The lands of Discordia are waiting for you. So, go get 'em!
Server Release Notes:
- You will all spawn in a tutorial, if you would like to skip this go right, into a portal. Go left to take it (highly recommended)
- When claiming land please follow these rules: http://www.blocktopia.net/forum/threads/rules-for-land-claiming.14468/
- There will be a ton of staff online, and we know there will be a lot of PVP/land related disputes at the beginning. If any of these come up, PLEASE, PM a staff member and they will resolve it.
- The server release will have 200 slots. You're gonna get in.
