Mafia, mafia, mafiiaaaaaaaaaaaaa! So I was playin' Discord Werewolf on the server of the dev who created the Mafia bot ER uses - and this gamemode seemed pretty fitting for our Mafia bandwagoning needs.

(P.S. Dev @belungawhale said it's okay to suggest this gamemode with y'all, so here it is, though I modified it a little)

New roles:
Detective (Town)
- Able to 'ID' one individual in the day. Gets the first-degree role of the person [i.e. ID'ing a 'cursed' would return 'cursed' instead of 'villager' (as per seer ability)].
- However 40% chance of revealing role to wolf team per 'ID' move.


Doomsayer (Scum)
- "OP wolf"
- Hybrid of seer and wolf, able to see one player's role at night, and also able to kill an individual per nightfall.


Minion (Scum) [2° role: villager]
- "Aware cultist"
- Knows the identity of the wolf, but wolf doesn't know they're on their side.


Guardian Angel (Town)
- "Shaman with only protection totems"
- Able to protect an individual per night, however cannot protect an individual consecutively for two nights.


Jester (Neutral)
- "Impotent fool"
- The Jester wins alongside the normal winners if lynched during the day.


Vengeful Ghost (Neutral) [2° role: villager]
- The Vengeful Ghost has to be killed in-game in order to win.
- When killed, they swear revenge on the team which killed them.
- Every nightfall after their death, they can kill an individual still in the game, and only win alongside the default winners if the team who killed them is eliminated.


Other conditions:

Lynching rules are slightly different for this gamemode.
1. A no-lynch is prohibited on day one. The only way for nobody to be lynched is to have all the players wait it out AND not vote for anybody (see condition #2).
2. If nobody has been lynched by the end of the day, the person with the most lynch votes gets lynched anyway. If two or more people tie, both get lynched.
3. ONLY in the event that nobody voted for nobody else that a day-one no-lynch is possible.


(P.S. This rule is super important especially for five-player games, where, if a town was killed on night one, there would be two scum and two town left, meaning that under normal lynch rules, nobody would get killed, automatically granting scum the win, assuming that minion does not vote wolf. This rule enables the wolf to be lynched if the two town cooperate.)

Seems like a good post, though for future reference you might want to DM me on discord if you want a new gamemode added so I can give instant feedback.

That said the idea seems nice so Ill attempt to add it for sure(and if I have any questions Ill dm you on discord) however I am both a trash and a slightly busy person so I will probs only start working on it next week.

Also wow you spoke to the original werewolfbot maker I might wanna talk to him sometime.
