As a direct connect user, I've been asked many times how to do it. I figured I should make a general guide for everybody in Blocktopia. It's relatively easy and quick to do.
NOTE: "Direct connect" refers to WoM users only. If you don't have WoM, then you can access the server through minecraft.net.
I.) The first thing to understand is the line of 'information' you need to access the server. The format is as follows:

mc://(serverIP):(serverAccessPort)/(username)/(mppass)
Thankfully it's easy to retrieve this information. Let's find out how!
1.) First of all, go to minecraft.net and log in. Make sure to use your email instead of your username!
2.) After logging in, CHOOSE THE SERVER YOU WANT and let the page load. Since you're direct connecting, you probably just see a black screen right now. After the page is fully loaded, right click on the screen. (I chose Blocktopia Zombie Survival for this example).
It should look something like this.
3.) On the right click menu, click "View Source" like so:
4.) That should bring up a small pop-up. At this stage, if you're on a Mac, click on the small window and hold "Command + F" - if you're on a Windows computer, use "Ctrl + F." This should bring up a small search bar in the window looking like this;
5.) After this search bar has appeared, type in your full username spelled correctly. There should be two "matches" in the search bar. Go to the second match by clicking the right arrow.

The numbers to the right of the red boxes are the numbers that we need to connect. For this example I was attempting to connect to Zombie Survival.
Remember the format above? Well, here it is again:

So now let's insert our information.
I.) (serverIP) = the numbers after the "server" red box. So, in this case, it's 84.201.25.80
mc://84.201.25.80:(serverAccessPort)/(username)/(mppass)
II.) (serverAccessPort) = the numbers after the "port" red box. In this case, it's 25568.

NOTE: Do NOT delete the colon between the IP and Port! You need it to connect.
III.) (username) = insert your username, spelled correctly and with the correct punctuation.

III.) IMPORTANT STEP: Lastly, we need the line of numbers given after the "mppass" red box; this number is unique to everyone and SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN OUT TO ANYBODY. If you give this number out, it's like giving out your password. It should be kept secret. I've hidden mine with an orange box. You need to copy that line of numbers and add it on to your code.

COPY YOUR WHOLE CODE AND KEEP IT SOMEWHERE SAFE.
7.) We're pretty much done! Fire up WoM, and log in. After that, simply paste the code you have into the search bar at the bottom and hit Go!
ALSO NOTE: Your mppass will change every time the server reboots. For Classic Zombie, it's usually around 1-3 days. You may need to go back to minecraft.net to gain a new mppass if you cannot log in. Just insert it for your old one and you're good to go.
