Here's a bit something I've done myself:
Some kind of shelf for my CD's, radio and guitar amplifier
I whetted(?) a guitar which had been rolling around my room for a while; it accidentally became communism-themed
This thing, ("vasta", if you're Eastern-Finnish or "vihta" if you're from Western Finland) is a quick one to tie; takes about an hour to make if you got right type of birch. You use it to whip yourself in sauna xD
I was fixing this old cottage in the middle of a forest few years back. It's built in a traditional Finnish log-style. We use to sleep there when we're fishing or hunting nearby.
I was renovating this 70-year-old bench last summer. Got a few scrathes, but it was worth it :D
Aaaand here's something I'm yet just planning to do, "kantele", few thousand years old Finnish harp-like instrument. I carved that piece of wood to look like a bluebill-bird. In Finnish mythologies the world was created from it's eggs.
